Although we could not repeat our usual ritual this year of driving to the Christmas tree farm to cut down a tree, it was not hard to find a small potted sapin at our local jardinerie. We had brought a few ornaments with us from the US, but mostly Molly and Betsy decorated the tree totally with things they made out of construction paper. (We also bought a string of lights.)Our tree is really quite pretty with the lights on after the sun goes down -- which is pretty early up here at almost 48 degrees north latitude!
