Guitar segue (v.2)

Coincidence? At any rate, we were amused by this juxtaposition: These two pictures came up right next to each other in our digital photo library. The first one is the last picture we took during the Sunday afternoon that we spent with Pierre and Laurence (and petit Paul) in Paris: Molly and Betsy were mesmerized by Pierre's electric guitar playing.

The next day, Monday, Cricket traveled back to Paris to meet her mom at Charles de Gaulle airport. Sandy had brought her travel guitar, and one of the first things Molly wanted to do with her was a bit of guitar-listening and singing together. After a fall and winter of uncertainty and health crises, we were all glad that she was finally going to make it to France! No one was sure how her recently regained energy levels would respond to international travel and time changes, so we had lots of short trips planned during the children's April vacation. Not to fear, we did it all, and had great time ... but more on that in future posts.
