au parc Montsouris

The girls' favorite hangout so far is the playground at the Parc Montsouris, where it's all about climbing and running around. (Note Molly looking distinctly more relaxed than at the airport!)

Molly met a friend, Farrah, at the park who doesn't speak a word of English. They do just fine playing cache-cache (hide and seek), though.

Parc Montsouris is more than just playground equipment; it's a huge, beautiful park with a lake, a waterfall, lots and lots of paths, even its own Métro stop (cité universitaire, walking distance from our own neighborhood stop, Alésia) that's actually inside the park. In this picture, the railings are actually concrete textured to look like wood. Amazing. Add pony rides and an in-park crèperie (on le week-end), and we could almost live there.
