Cricket saw this in a Paris guidebook and Christine confirmed that it's worth seeing, so we wandered over to check out the temporary beaches along the Seine, right in the center of the city (between Notre Dame and the Louvre). Very cool!
People were very busy despite the un-August weather, about 60 degrees (F).
